THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
A Site by Bryeson with help from Brent and Kierstin

This site is for everyone at American Healthways that helped me get my puppy. Special thank you to Miss Debbie for letting people know that I needed a new dog!

This is the story of how I got a new puppy.  My name is Bryeson and I had a really special dog. That is how the story starts.  My dog's name was Birdie and she was hit by a car.  It was very sad and my whole family cried and cried.  She was a dog who helped me every day. I could walk with her and she would tell me if there was a car coming.  I need this kind of help because I was born with less hearing than most people.  She helped me with a lot of other things too, like if a phone rang or someone came to the door or if I forgot something in the toaster.  When she died I missed her because she was my friend but also because it was hard to do the things I like to do myself without her help.

My mom told her friend at my work about what had happened and her friend wanted to help. She asked lots of people that also work there to help and they DID.  If you are one of those people, thank you VERy MUCH!  my whole family says thank you!

This is my new puppy--she weighs more than I do!

Introducing Lexi (Lexus)

Finding a new dog.
We looked very carefully for a new dog.  There are people who help train dogs like the one that will help me and we talked to the man who is helping us a lot!  Here are some things we looked for:

1. A dog who loves people
2. a dog who likes to work
3. a dog with good hearing
4. one who loves to have attention and doesn't mind being with people all the time
5. smart
6. easy to train with rewards
